All our jewelry is handcrafted using different metals and stones. You can find more details and the materials used on each item's description. The best way to care for your jewelry and keep it in it's original condition is to keep it in a clean/dry place. Avoid long term exposure to humidity and harmful chemicals. Try to prevent it from getting in touch with water, remove it before showering or swimming. With the proper care your pieces should last you many years!

brass

Brass is a copper and zinc alloy that results in a lovely gold color that resembles actual gold. This alloy is nickel-free and lead-free. It will naturally oxidize with time and wear. The reaction will develop a natural patina that will add character and personality to your piece. If preferred shiny it can be easily removed using a polishing cloth (included with your purchase).

silver

Silver is a precious metal.  Mostly used in jewelry as fine or .925 silver (sterling silver). Fine silver is .999 silver, also known as pure silver. It's use in jewelry is limited because it is the softest form of the metal. Sterling silver is made out of 92.5% of silver and 7.5% of copper or other metals. This is the most used silver alloy because it is a hard and durable alloy, ideal for jewelry. Since sterling contains copper it is more prone to tarnishing but it can be easily shined with a polishing cloth (included with your purchase).

gold

Gold is a precious metal. Available in multiple purity based alloys. The higher the karat the purest the alloy, with 24k being pure gold because it contains 24/24 parts of gold. Lower karat forms of gold mean gold has been mixed with copper or other metals to achieve other properties such as hardness. Gold never tarnishes and it's properties and appearance has captivated humanity since the very beginning.
